Life of the Party

We hired Flip for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was the best decision we ever made! He is super personable and understood exactly how we wanted our wedding to sound like and feel like. He picked out the best playlist and I literally couldn't leave the dance floor. I tried to leave for one minute and came rushing back in to keep dancing! He is extremely professional and helpful, knowing exactly what to do when I didn't have a clue what was going on. I'm so glad he was part of our special day, because he definitely made it 100x more special!

"Felipe of Glass Horse Events was a fantastic DJ. I'm a wedding photographer in the Atlanta area, and I had the lovely chance to work with Felipe at a large wedding in Auburn. I was very surprised that a week before the wedding, I received an email from Felipe introducing himself and sending me his schedule for the reception. He gave me the chance to review his schedule, ask questions, and let him know which lighting set-up would be best for my photography during the couple's Grand Entrance and First Dance. It was such a wonderful, professional courtesy that I almost never receive from vendors prior to a wedding!

At the wedding, Felipe did a really great job of maintaining the reception schedule and playing great music! His music set-up was great and he had some fun lighting equipment that he set up around the dance floor to get the wedding guests hyped up for dancing. This was the first wedding that I've shot ALL SUMMER where guests danced throughout the entire reception! Felipe played the perfect music to suit the crowd (it was a fun combination of latin music and trending pop beats), and I even found myself dancing along while I was working! Overall, Felipe was an awesome DJ and i had a great experience working with him. I know the guests at the wedding enjoyed it as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the future."

" Flip was an awesome choice for DJ. He made things easy in every step of the process. It started with a call where he really got to know us and what we envisioned for the entertainment of our wedding. He asked specific questions to get an idea of our music tastes and he had good examples and ideas for all parts of the wedding where we were indecisive - like first dances and bridal party entrance. He even traveled to the location - pretty far from his base - a few days before the wedding to get an idea of the space and plan out lighting/dance floor."

Flip was very available during planning as well, through phone and email and coordinated with our wedding planner when we were too busy to get back to him.

During the reception, he played to the mood of the crowd from casual songs during dinner, to dance songs guaranteed to get people out on the dance floor. He played all of the songs we had specifically asked for without any feeling out of place in the flow of the evening. He also played a good, eclectic mix that guests of all generations loved. The party was going so well that Felipe even stayed passed his allotted time to ensure it was the best time possible for our guests.
